Hyderabad: Shraddha Srinath, who starred in Jersey alongside Nani, and in a few other Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies, is often called the most underrated actress on the internet. Her modest and witty side of her is quite endearing. Be it her #dubaicrossing posts or #squeakyclean stories reflect the traits of girl-next-door, which instantly connects with her fans.
This lawyer-turned-actress is now donning a new hat, that of an entrepreneur. On International Women's Day, she took to social media to announce her foray into food and beverage business. She has catapulted a salad bar and cafe called Per Se. According to her, this cafe is all about going one step closer to a healthier lifestyle.
Her post reads as follows:
“To everyone that guessed restaurant – Yes! Maybe a little less than a restaurant but a little more than a cafe, definitely a LOT of good food… and simple.. and fresh. And in my journey towards a better relationship with food, I’m one step closer to a cleaner & healthier lifestyle, which makes this one a little close to the heart. So, here it is – @persechennai .”
I'm super thrilled to introduce Chennai’s coolest new salad bar & cafe -that gives you the choice to be healthy or indulgent with not-your-regular sandwiches, sweet crepes, a few other stunning concoctions & of course, if you’re in the mood for it, the healthy route – salads We’re swinging our doors open tomorrow, come show us some love!”
Shraddha along with her friends started this venture at Phoenix Mall in Chennai.
On the work front, Shraddha just tasted success with the Tamil remake of Pink, Nerkonda Parvai, which released in the second half of 2019. She now has a couple of Tamil and Kannada movies in her kitty along with a Telugu movie, Krishna and his Leela. The movie is being directed by Ravikanth Perepu and is bankrolled by Rana Daggubati. Sid Jonnalagadda is paired opposite her.
