Hyderabad: Former MP Siva Prasad’s grandson declared on Friday that the former’s health is stable even though in a critical condition. The video testament comes after a few news channels had reported that Siva Prasad had passed away. The grandson expressed his confidence that his grandfather would come home very soon after recovering from ill health and requested everyone not to believe rumours regarding the matter.
The former MP is currently undergoing treatment at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai for kidney damage. It is reported that he is on life-supporting devices. TDP President Chandrababu Naidu visited the hospital on Friday and enquired about Prasad’s health condition.
Siva Prasad has also acted in many movies and was Tirupathi MP for two consecutive terms in 2009 and 2014. He attracted nationwide attention at the Parliament during AP bifurcation. He has become famous for his criticism of the BJP government for not granting special status to Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
