Speeding car kills woman and son

Hyderabad : Rash and negligent driving turned tragic for a family, killing a woman and her son and leaving her husband injured in an accident at Alwal, in Hyderabad. The accident occurred when the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the victims' scooter.

Priyadarshini (28) and her son Ayaan(7) were riding pillion with her husband. While nearing Loyola Academy, a speeding car hit their scooter from the rear. As a result, Priyadarshini and her son were thrown off the vehicle and landed at a distance on the road. They sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot.

Inquiries revealed that the car was owned by a rental agency.

Police have registered a case against the driver, who is now absconding.
