Speeding truck kills 6-year-old boy in Hayathnagar

Hayathnagar: A six-year-old boy died after he was hit by a speeding tipper at Hayathnagar of Rachakonda in the city outskirts on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Garide Datta Prasad.

According to police, Anand a native of Maharashtra resides at Koheda village under Hayathnagar police station. His son Datta Prasad on Tuesday returned home and went to a nearby shop to buy snacks. He was knocked down by the tipper while crossing the road after buying the snacks. The boy died on the spot. Police registered a case against the driver and a probe has been initiated.
