Sub-Inspector missing after rap from seniors in Kurnool

Kurnool: Sub-Inspector of Rudravaram police station in Kurnool district, Vishnu Narayana, went missing on Sunday. His family members have filed a missing person complaint with the police that he had not turned up since morning.

It may be recalled that Vishnu Narayana was admonished by his seniors for negligence of duty on Saturday. Apparently upset, Vishnu Narayana, a few hours later, posted on the police WhatsApp group of Kurnool district police that it was his last message in the Group.

Sensing that something was wrong, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pothu Raju rushed to Rudravaram and met Vishnu Narayana and urged him against taking any hasty decisions.

After work, he left for home in the evening. However, since Sunday morning, both his mobile phones remained switched-off. The police formed two teams to trace him.

Sources said that senior police officials were not happy with the performance of Vishnu Narayana as they received complaints against the sub-inspector for his negligent attitude.
