Suryapet lecturer booked for sexually exploiting his student

Telangana: A college lecturer, serving in Suryapet district of the state, has been booked for sexually exploited his student under the pretext of marrying her.

According to the district police, the accused lecturer Lingaiah has been sexually exploiting the girl since a long time, however the incident came to light, after the victim approached cops at Tirumalagiri police station in Suryapet district, on Tuesday.

The facts of the case are, Lingaiah works in a private college in Tirumalagiri town, where the victim(19) is studying. The accused is married with two children, however promised to marry the girl. “Initially I refused his marriage proposal, but he kept pursuing me. Further, he forced me to have intercourse however I refused. But then, he blackmailed of committing suicide, if I did not accept his proposal. I fell into the trap," the complainant told the police .

She further added , “ We took our relationship forward, we spent time in a lodge, where Lingaiah promised to marry me. But, he took advance of the same and continued to sexually exploit me. He dodged my questions on marriage’, the victim said.

The students who felt cheated filed a complaint at the Tirumalagiri police registered. A criminal case under section of rape, cheating has been booked . The police have initiated investigation.
