T Subbarami Reddy, C M Ramesh are the richest MPs in the Upper house

* TRS - MP Dharmapuri Srinivas: Total assets : Rs 16. 66 Crore . Profession : politician.
Hyderabad: Congress Rajya Sabha MP T. Subbarami Reddy and BJP MP CM Ramesh from the two Telugu speaking states, hold high assets when compared to members in the upper house.
According to the affidavit submitted by the two, T. Subbarami Reddy has declared movable (Cars, cash, bank balance ) worth Rs 300. 68 Cr while immovable properties (land) worth Rs 121. 76, amounting to a whopping Rs 422. 44 crore
While CM Ramesh who shifted his loyalty towards BJP after his parent party TDP faced a debacle in the AP state elections, is worth Rs 258 Crore. The business man who faced IT raids days before the state went for polls, owns movable properties worth Rs 40 crore . While, he has invested largely in lands, of about Rs 218 Crore
The two telugu MPs are followed by Late Finance minister. Mr Arun Jaitley who then declared Rs. 111.42 crores assets. While Ms. Ambika Soni Congress MP from Punjab is the 4th MP with high assets i.e Rs. 105.82 crores.
Association for Democratic reforms, through an RTI procured the details of assets owned by 213 Rajya Sabha MPs as on 4th January 2019. TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, a senior advocate has declared total assets of Rs 4. 39 Crore. TRS - MPs Dharmapuri Srinivas declared total asset of Rs 16. 66 Crore, MP Santhosh Kumar Joginipally, declared Rs 16. 80 Crore and MP Voditela Lakshmikanta Rao declared Rs 17. 92 crore. BJP MP Garikapati Mohan Rao, who is a business man possess total assets worth Rs 38. 96 Crore.
