Teacher rapes minor in Adilabad district

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her teacher at Indervelly town of Adilabad district on Sunday. The accused M. Srikanth is working in a private school where the girl is also studying.

The girl is a resident of Bheemnagar colony in the town. Srikanth, who is working in the school for a few years. The accused under the pretext of love was harassing the girl for the past few days.

On Sunday, when the girl was alone at home, Srikanth barged into her house and forced himself on her. Later, he overpowered her and raped her. The girl informed her parents about the incident when they returned home. Indervelly police have registered a case and launched a hunt for Srikanth.
