Teacher sexually abused and fleeced in Vizag with semi-nude photos, cops launch manhunt for accused

Visakapatanam: A government teacher was sexually assaulted by a youngster (Rohit Kumar, named changed) in Vizag city. Kumar extorted money to the tune of over Rs50 lakh from her by blackmailing her with her semi-nude photos.

As per the police, Kumar befriended the woman teacher and later assaulted her after drugging her. He also took pictures of her private parts, and blackmailed her for money.

The victim teacher said the police that she had paid over Rs50 lakh to Kumar by depositing the amount in Kumar’s father’s bank account.

The Vizag police on Saturday arrested Kumar’s father for enjoying with the money collected by his son also encouraged his son for extortion.

The police said that the woman was befriended by Kumar whom she met through her mutual friends a couple of years ago.

Kumar took some private pictures of the woman by offering sedative laced soft drinks. Using the private pictures of the teacher, Kumar reportedly sexually assaulted the woman several times and also extorted money, threatening that they would be sent to her parents and post in the social networking websites.

“Kumar has reportedly extorted over Rs50 lakh from the woman in various instalments. The victim woman used to send all the money to the accused father's bank account.

Instead of questioning his son Kumar about the money, Kumar’s father used to consume liquor and addicted to other vices with it. The police are also surprised at how he supported his son, who committed a heinous crime.

The victim teacher said that she had taken lakhs of money from private financiers.

The victim also approached the accused parents and pleaded them to leave her alone. But they shooed her away, another officer said.

The police have launched a search for Kumar and also appealed the women in the city beware with the facebook friends and others as most of the women turned victims in the cyber crimes in Vizag city.
