Mallanna says when Chaiwala can become PM, he can win as MLA

Hyderabad: Teenmar Mallanna, who gained fame on the Teenmar programme on a vernacular TV channel in Telangana, is contesting from the Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. Mr Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, alias Teenmar Mallanna made a foray into politics in 2015. He recently filed his nomination papers for a by-election in Huzurnagar Assembly constituency as an independent candidate.

According to the ECI (Election Commission of India) website, his application was uploaded on October 1, 2019, and its current status is marked 'Accepted' in green colour. Mr Teenamar Mallanna is an independent candidate in the Huzurnagar by-election.

Mr Naveen Kumar is a native of Nalgonda district and did his MA (Political Science) and an MBA. Earlier in 2014, Mr Naveen planned his entry into local politics. Subsequently, in February 2015, he filed his nomination for Congress candidate in the Council polls from Khammam, Nalgonda and Warangal Graduates’ constituency. However, TRS candidate, Mr P Rajeshwar Reddy won from this constituency.

From a humble beginning as a paperboy, Mr Naveen rose to fame against all the odds. Mr Mallanna’s source of inspiration is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Naveen always believes that if a chaiwala could become the Prime Minister, why can't a paperboy become an MLA or MLC?

Teenamar Mallanna was recently back in the limelight on social media when he posted stories on the Kaleshwaram project and the reasons behind vacating the Secretariat. A criminal case has been registered against Mallanna under 504 IPC Intentional insult with provocation for breach of trust and 171 G IPC false statement in connection with the election in Narayanaguda police station in 2019 for abusing a TRS party candidate. Teenmar Mallanna is currently working as Associated Editor in Tv5 news as per his affidavit. He did his MBA from JNTU University and MCJ from Osmania University.
