Telangana boy drowned in Canada lake

Hyderabad : A 29-year-old B.Tech graduate B. Jagan Mohan Reddy from Maheswaram in erstwhile Ranga Reddy district was found dead in a lake at Toronto in Canada on August 1 after he went missing from his house since July 27.

The police in Toronto found the body and identified Reddy with the help of his roommate’s bus pass. Later, information was provided to Reddy’s sister who is staying in US. According to family members, Reddy went to Toronto to pursue MS.

The reasons behind the death of Reddy were yet to be known. His brother-in-law along with other relatives was going to Toronto from US to receive the body. The body was found 15 kilometres away from his residence.

Reddy’s family took education loan and sent him to Toronto for pursuing higher studies. He used to maintain contact with the family through video calls. Reddy’s family was staying at Manchal in Maheswaram.
