Telangana: Hyderbad to get Constitutional Club like Delhi
By Newsmeter Network Published on 9 Sep 2019 12:15 PM GMTHyderabad: Telangana’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC) in a meeting on Monday decided to conduct Telangana assembly budget sessions from September 14 to 22 including the Sunday. A government holiday is declared on Tuesday in view of Muharram festival.
As per the Telangana Congress leader Batti Vikramarka’s advice, the government has decided to establish Hyderabad Constitutional Club like in Delhi. Moreover, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao suggested conducting the next year assembly sessions for 21 days.
BAC has scheduled the Budget sessions as followed:
September 11: Legislative Council Chairman to be elected
September 12 and 13: Holidays
September 14 to 22: Telangana Assembly budget sessions
September 14: Discussion on state’s budget
September 15: Government answers to questions on the budget
As the assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy will be visiting abroad from September 24, the new revenue bill might be implemented in mid-October.
