Telangana: Pharmacist attempts suicide

Hyderabad: A pharmacist working at Bhongir district in Telangana allegedly attempted suicide on Saturday. The victim Saritha consumed pills in large quantity, reportedly after her superiors warned her of disciplinary action

Saritha is working as a pharmacist at Primary health centre at Yadagiri gutta town, for close to two decades. Recently her superiors had warned of disciplinary action against her, on charges of bringing negligent at work.

Upset over the decision, she consumed pills.

However she was rushed to an Area hospital, where doctors treated her, and she is now out of danger.
