Telangana govt extends lockdown for next 10 days
The relaxation period in the morning has been also increased by three hours. From May 31, the relaxation period will be from 6 am to 1 pm.

The government also said that citizens stuck outside will be given an extra hour to reach home till 2 pm. However, post 2 pm, the lockdown will be very strictly implemented.
The Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao also said that limited revival of economic activity has also consented in the meeting. "Guidelines regarding revival of economic activity will be issued soon," said KTR.

According to the minister, the cabinet has decided that, Students going overseas for higher education will be given vaccination on priority. The cabinet has also resolved to establish seven medical colleges in the districts of Mahbubabad, Sangareddy, Jagtyal, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mancherial. "Prior to the formation of Telangana, only 4 Government medical colleges were built. From 2014 to 18, KCR Government has established 5 medical colleges and now 7 more to will come up," added KTR.
