Three of family killed after car rams into DCM van on national highway in Medak district

Hyderabad: Three persons were killed and two others sustained wounds when their vehicle rammed into a DCM vain at Narsingi village along the National highway in Medak district of Telangana in the wee hours of Monday.

The victims, who belong to the same family, were returning home after dropping a member at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad in Hyderabad.

The deceased have been identified as P Kistaiah, A Krishna and P Anjaneyulu. The injured have been identified as Kavya and Ajay.

According to sources, the victims hail from Rajanna Siricilla and Kamareddy districts. On Sunday evening, they started from home to the airport. Late in the night, they dropped one of their family members, who was flying to Gulf nation to resume his duties, at the airport.

When they were returning, the driver lost control of the vehicle rammed into the parked DCM van.

Medak police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured to the district hospital. Further investigation is underway
