Tik Tok love affair gone wrong: KIMS nurse cheated by partner

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old woman, working as a nurse at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in the city, was allegedly cheated by her live-in partner at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. The victim's partner, identified as Vinay, came in touch with the victim through TikTok. The accused and the victim are regular TikTok users and uploaded videos on it. Vinay, who saw the videos of the nurse, approached her.
After following each other for some time, they exchanged their contact numbers and became friends, a year ago. Soon, they entered into a relationship and started living together in a rented flat in Yousufguda. While the victim was working, her partner was without a job. As a result, she was taking care of his expenses also.
In due course of time, she gave around Rs 1.50 lakh to Vinay for his emergency needs. Recently, he started suspecting her of having another affair and began harassing her, even when she explained him that there was nothing like that.
A week ago, when she returned from work, she couldn't find Vinay in the flat. She called him up but his mobile phone was switched off. After repeatedly trying to contact him and searching for him, she realised that she was cheated and approached the police. Banjara Hills police registered a case against Vinay and began investigation.
