Tiktok sensation from Vizag, Sonika, dies in road mishap

Visakhapatnam: The death of Tiktok sensation, Sonika Kethavath from Vizag city has left her followers on the social networking platforms in a state of shock. She had followers across the nation.
The 20-year-old Sonika sustained injuries in a road accident a few days ago at Korrapati Toll Gate under Ketapalli Mandal of Nalgonda district in Telangana, but she succumbed to injuries on Thursday. She was riding the pillion.
Sonika was a student and an actor by passion. Sonika, was an Engineering (BTech) student from a private college in Vizag, was viral on Tiktok for her lip-synching and acting skills. Many of her pictures and videos, she had shot for Tiktok and Instagram at Sagarnagar, RK Beach and Rushikonda areas in Vizag city. On Instagram, Sonika has over 95.2k followers with the username (_dark_chocklate_). Over the past few days, there were comments under her photos praying for her recovery. She also acted him some short films. Her Instagram bio says ‘Actor’.
It is, however, yet to be confirmed if the incident took place while recording a video for Tiktok or during a bike trip with her friends.
Along with Sonika, her friend who is the rider of the bike also suffered injuries in the accident, and he is availing treatment. But, Sonika who suffered severe injuries died.
