Praja Bhavan will be the official residence of Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka
The Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister has been requested to inform the date of occupation of the Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan.

Hyderabad: The Government Residential Building at Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan (earlier Pragati Bhavan) in Begumpet, Hyderabad is now allotted to Deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu. This will be the official residential accommodation of Bhatti Vikramarka.
A GO has been released on Wednesday issuing orders of accommodation allocation.
Executive Engineer (R&B), East Buildings Division, Hyderabad will hand over the possession of the Residential Bulding to Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister under intimation this Department and also the Estate Officer, Hyderabad for placing the said building at the disposal of the said authorities.
The Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister has been requested to inform the date of occupation of the Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan.
This is the building that the Congress called a symbol of the dictatorial rule of the KCR family, a fortress that kept the common people outside. When Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) came to power in 2014, the Bhavan was fenced and iron barricades were put up at the entrance. However, after Congress came into power, those heavy barricades around the Bhavan were removed.
