Tribal girl raped and murdered in Visakhapatnam Agency  

Visakhapatnam: A 18-year-old tribal girl was allegedly raped and murdered by unidentified persons near Sarabaguda area, under Araku Valley police station limits, in Visakhapatnam district on Saturday.

The body of the victim, with her head smashed, was found dumped in the bushes near the government school at Sarabaguda village.

The victim girl was a native of Chinalabudu village under Araku Valley Mandal. Though the police are yet to ascertain the exact reason for death, they are suspecting that the girl was raped and murdered.

The police along with the clues teams rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the government hospital. Expressing anguish over the heinous crime, the relatives and family members of the victim staged a protest in front of the Araku Valley police station demanding action against the accused persons.
