Trisha may pair up with Chiranjeevi after 13 year break

Hyderabad: Southern cinema star Trisha Krishnan may soon reprise a lead role in an upcoming movie starring megastar, Chiranjeevi. The actor is currently busy promoting his big ticket flick, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is releasing on October 2. Following the movie's release, Chiranjeevi may soon start shooting for his next movie which will be directed by Koratala Siva. The makers might announce the date of the formal pooja ceremony and when the movie would go on the floor.

Initially, the makers decided to rope in actress Nayanthara as the female lead. Later on, actresses Shruti Haasan and Tamannaah's names were also doing rounds. Now, it is rumoured that Trisha is being considered as the leading lady in the project. The movie produced jointly by Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments.

If Trisha is chosen for the role, she will once again be sharing screen space with Chiranjeevi after 13 years. The last time, she was paired with Chiranjeevi was in the movie Stalin, way back in 2006. Telugu fans are hoping to see their favourite stars, Trisha and Chiranjeevi, paired up once again on the big screen after such a long hiatus. Bollywood music composer duo, Ajay and Atul are being roped in for the music.

Trisha’s last Telugu movie was Nayaki that was directed by Goverdhan Reddy. Since then, she had been busy with Tamil projects. Some of these projects include Garjanai, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Paramapadham Vilayattu, Raangi and Sugar are ongoing.
