Trivikram to direct Venkatesh soon?

It looks like the much anticipated combination of Victory Venkatesh and ace director Trivikram Srinivas will materialise soon. This collaboration is in the news for quite some time now and if things go as planned, the film will commence soon. Venkatesh who had a successful 2019 with films like ‘F2’ and ‘Venky Mama’ doing well at the box office is looking forward to continue his winning streak.

On the other hand, Trivikram, who is currently basking in the success of his latest blockbuster, ‘Ala Vaikuntapurramulo’ was supposed to do a film with JR NTR as his next. However, NTR, who is currently busy shooting for Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ can only work on Trivikram’s film after the release of ‘RRR’.

In the meanwhile, Trivikram wants to do a film with Venkatesh, which can be wrapped up in 3-4 months. An official confirmation regarding the project is expected soon. The duo has earlier worked together for successful films like ‘Nuvvu Naku Nachav’, ‘Malliswari’ ‘Vasu’ for which Trivikram has penned the story and dialogues.

After this project, Venkatesh has agreed to do an action film, which will be directed by Mahi V Raghav, who impressed everyone with ‘Anando Brahma’ and ‘Yatra’. PVP productions will produce this film.

According to sources, the film will be a cop-based drama with many entertaining commercial elements. Mahi V Raghavhas narrated an impressive storyline and the actor gave an immediate positive nod.

Other than this, Producer Suresh Babu has earlier revealed that Tharun Bhascker will be directing Venkatesh in a film, which is set against the backdrop of Malakpet Race Club. It is learnt that Tharun is giving finishing touches to the story and will narrate it to the actor and the makers soon.

Venkatesh is currently shooting for ‘Narappa’, a remake of Dhanush-starrer ‘Asuran’ which is directed by Srikanth Addala.

It looks like fans of the actor are in for a treat this year as he has a slew of interesting films in the pipeline.
