TSRTCs temporarily hired drivers cause accidents; 3 incidents reported so far

Hyderabad: Three persons were killed and more than ten were injured, after a TSRTC bus rammed into a passenger vehicle in Sangareddy district. A temporary driver was behind the wheel at the time of the incident. The bus was on its way to Hyderabad.

There were around 15 passengers on the bus. And the passenger vehicle had around 15 passengers travelling on board. At MNR X roads of Sangareddy town, the bus driver lost control of the wheel due to over speeding and rammed into the passenger vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

As a result, three people in the passenger vehicle died on the spot and more than ten people sustained grave injuries. They were rushed to the district hospital at Sangareddy. The condition of at least three persons is said to be critical.

At Kukatpally in Hyderabad, two city buses belonging to the TSRTC crashed into each other on Monday morning. As there was a less number of passengers on board, no casualties reported. At SR Nagar, a city bus belonging to HCU depot, plying on the 10H route crashed into a divider as the driver failed to negotiate a U-turn. At Hayathnagar on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway, a bus belonging to Narketpally depot rammed into a truck from the rear. The passengers escaped unhurt. In all the incidents, temporarily hired drivers were behind the wheels at the time of the incident.
