TTD releases list of fake websites used for booking hotels

Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam ( TTD) has released a list of fake websites that have been used for booking tickets for Darshan, service and hotels by devotees while their visit to Tirupati.

The TTD released the list of following websites, namely, www.ttdtickets.com, www.ttddarshan.com, tirupatibalajidarshantickets.co.in, tirupatibalajidarshanbooking.com, ttdbalajidarshan.com, myspiritualyatra.com, tirupatibalajidarshan.co.in, tirupatibalajidarshan.org, www.mybalaji.in, bookingtirupatidarshan.com, www.templeyatri.com, tirupatibalajitemple.com, www.tirupatibalajidarshanbooking.co.in, tirupatitourism.in, tirupatitourismseva.com, padmavathitravels.in, ttddarshan.com, tirupatibalajidarshanbooking.co.in and tirupatidarshanbooking.org.

The TTD, in an advertisement on Wednesday informed the devotees to not get cheated by trusting fake websites and fall in the trap laid by them. The advertisement also read that the devotees have been cheated of the fake websites earlier and have brought it to their notice. They have also lodged complaints while booking hotel rooms for their stay and darshan.

Reaching on the same, the surveillance and discipline department officers of the TTD have taken the matter to the Police station and have filed complaints on the same.

They have also urged the devotees to book tickets of darshan and stay from the websites namely, "tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in and ttdsevaonline.com. They have also mentioned "www.tirumala.org to clear any queries or doubts related to the TTD.

Meanwhile, A survey of India chartered aircraft flew above the Tirumala temple. The place being a no-fly zone, took it to the notice of ATC ( Air traffic control) in Chennai.
