TVV State president Bandaru Maddileti gets bail

Hyderabad: A special court hearing cases booked by the National Investigation Agency, granted conditional bail to Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) State president Maddileti alias Bandari Maddileti, who was earlier arrested for allegedly conspiring to recruit youth and raising funds for CPI (Maoist) through the frontal organizations.

The 31 year-old is likely to be released from the Cherlapally Central Prison on Wednesday, an HC advocate said.

To recall, in 2019 Maddileti was arrested following police searches at his house . The search resulted in seizure of letters, documents and digital devices allegedly establishing his close association with senior CPI (Maoist) leaders and top leaders of frontal organizations.

The NIA Investigation is based on an FIR booked by Nallakunta police.

The bail conditions laid by the court is, Maddileti is not permitted to leave the state without prior permission of the court. Secondly it is required for him to submit permanent and temporary residential address along with his mobile number and email ID to the court.

On the condition that he must not indulge in criminal activity while on bail nor in any manner associate or support the banned CPI (Maoist) and all its organizations, the court granted him a bail.
