Twitter suspends British Diplomat's account

The micro blogging site- Twitter suspended the account of Mr. Andrew Fleming- United Kingdom's (UK) Deputy High Commissioner to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.�

Considered as one of the most �popular diplomat in the Hyderabd social network , he �goes by the handle @Andrew007UK and has a following of 16.7 lakh. �

According to the office of the Deputy Commissioner , the reason for suspension is still unknown, the handle was reported off in the dead night of August 6th. “ We have written to twitter seeking the enquiry behind the suspension , the online team is is yet to respond. We are hoping it will be resolved soon, said an officer with the Deputy High commission’s office”.

Asked if the diplomat had violated twitter norm, the officer said, “ There is no reason for them to suspend given the content posted is friendly and does not violate their norms”. �

This has come at a time , when reports of twitter suspending accounts of social media influencers, now ��Twitter ended up freezing the account of the UK's top official.�Many of his followers from Hyderabad question twitter about the reason behind this suspension of Dr. Fleming.
