Two arrested for use of fake identification in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on Monday arrested two travellers Dhaulsaab and Laxmi at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) who tried to fly to New Delhi using counterfeit tickets. They planned to travel from Shamshabad to New Delhi via Indigo airlines.

On Friday, at 9:10 pm, two accused Dhaulsaab, 41, a TV mechanic and Laxmi, 23, had planned to visit the Taj Mahal. Both the accused carried fake identification and tried to cheat immigration authorities.

However, the airport authorities found their activities suspicious, checked their identity and sent them to judicial remand. Lakshmi's face did not match that of the identity cards she had presented. Lakshmi carried an identity proof copy and a flight ticket with details of one, Fatima Begum.

The accused hail from Karnataka’s Raichur district. CISF handed over them to Airport police and then a case was registered to investigate
