Two Hyd men sold fake sanitizers mixed petroleum gel with rose water, get arrested

Hyderabad : The task force sleuths of Hyderabad police, nabbed two for manufacturing duplicate hand sanitizers and supplying the material to medical shops located in Roop lal Bazar, Shalibanda. The cops seized 580 bottles of fake instant sanitizers worth Rs 90,000.

‘Normally, hand sanitizers turn dry as soon as they are applied on hands. But the particular company’s sanitizer does not get dry. The two accused Omer Farooq and Abdul Quddus hatched a plan and started manufacturing duplicate hand sanitizers by mixing petroleum gel along with rose water, labelled as Germ XHand Sanitizer. The same was scold at local Medical Shops and to innocent people illegally on higher rates without any valid license . The Products has no approval of the Drug and Ayush Departments. The accused persons along with seized material handed over to Shalibanda Police’ said an officer with the Task force team.
