Two killed as TRS Minister Errabelli car turns turtle

Hyderabad: A bullet-proof vehicle, which was part of Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao’s security, overturned at Jangoan district, leaving two dead and three injured late Saturday night.

The minister was travelling in another vehicle at the time of the incident. The deceased are identified as driver Parthasarathi(43), the minister's social media in-charge Purneder(36). Attender Tatarao, personal assistant Shiva and Gunman Naresh sustained injuries. The accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control while negotiating a sharp curve on the highway.

According to police, the minister, after attending a few officials programs at Hyderabad on Saturday, started for his constituency Palakurthy in Warangal district. Till Jangaon town, all the vehicles were together in the convoy. The vehicle involved in the accident halted for a while at Jangaon and started after sometime, while the minister moved ahead along with the convoy with the other vehicles.

Later, while while passing through Chituru village of Lingala Ghanapuram mandal, the driver lost control while negotiating a sharp curve, the vehicle swerved and overturned and landed off the road in the bushes. Passersby noticed the incident and alerted police and ambulance.

The injured persons were rushed to hospital, where doctors declared Parthasarathi and Purnender brought dead, while the three others are being treated. Minister who got to know about the accident, returned to the hospital, where he broke down.

Further investigations are underway.
