Two minor boys rape a 4-year-old girl in Kakinada by offering kite

Kakinada/Chittoor: A 14-year-old boy along with an eight-year-old boy allegedly raped a four-year-old girl after the two offered her a kite during the Sankranti festival celebrations at Kakinada under Two-Town police station limits in East Godavari district.
Though the incident took place on Thursday, it came to light on Friday only after parents of the victim girl approached the police. The victim is an LKG student in a private school in the town while the two boys are her neighbours.
The girl told her mother that the two boys took her to a room by offering a kite and later the two sexually assaulted her and caused wounds in her private parts.
Based on the complaint from the victim’s parents, the police registered a case against the two boys under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police shifted the victim to a government hospital for medical examination.
In another heinous crime, an inebriated man raped his 11-year-old daughter on Thursday in a village under Vedurukuppam Mandal in Chittoor district.
The accused K Krishnaiah (40), a daily-wage labourer has two wives and the victim was the daughter of his second wife. The victim is a VI standard student of a government school and stays in its hostel. She had come home for the Sankranti festival. While she was in her household chores on Thursday, Krishnaiah raped her.
The police have registered a case against him under Section 376 of IPC and relevant Section under POSCO Act. The police nabbed the accused and shifted the girl to the government hospital for medical examination.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that Krishnaiah has raped the girl repeatedly for the past few months and he threatened the girl with dire consequences.
