Visakhapatnam: Two minor girls were allegedly abducted and gang-raped by five men in a village under Araku Valley police station limits in Vizag Agency. Though the incident took place on 2 March, it came to light the next day after the victims, along with their family, approached the police.

The girls, aged 15 and 16, were allegedly abducted by five men who lured them with a promise of a trip to Araku Valley. When the girls got into their SUV, the men took them to an isolated place and raped them. A pastor identified one of the accused persons. Sources said the police have launched a manhunt for the remaining four.

Based on the complaint of the victims, inspector of Araku Valley P. Pydayya registered a case and an investigation is underway. The victims were sent for medical examination.
