Unidentified man’s body found in Maruti Rao’s shed in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The prime accused in the shocking Pranay honour killing case, Maruthi Rao is again under the radar of police as an unknown body was found at his shed in Miryalaguda on Saturday.

He owns the shed near Reliance Petrol bunk in Addanki-Narketpally main road, Miryalaguda. The locals complained to the police as they were getting a foul smell from the room of the shed. On reaching the shed, they found a man's body with oil poured on it, seeing which they suspected that the murder took place a week ago.

The man was wearing sky-blue shirt, jeans pant and a watch although his body was badly burnt.

The police were wondering if the man was murdered somewhere else and his body was burnt in the shed or whether he died in a road accident and his body was thrown there or whether he was murdered in the shed.

The Clues team that arrived from Nalgonda gathered all evidence and took fingerprints. Maruthi Rao had a barren land near the Addanki-Narketpally main road in which he wanted to build a hotel for which he built a shed. The construction for this had begun around 10 years back. It wore a deserted look.
