Hyderabad: An unknown body was found floating in Musi river on Monday near Amberpet’s Alvin café. The body was recovered by Amberpet police officials and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s (GHMC) disaster management team.

Around 7:30 am Monday, a local named Madhu who runs a dairy business, went to banks of the Musi river to collect grass when he noticed the body of a man floating in the river. He immediately informed the matter at Amberpet police station.

“We immediately reached the spot, NDRF and clues team recovered the body and sent to the Osmania hospital mortuary. The body is in a very bad condition and it looks like he died two or three days before. As of now, the identity of the body is unknown” said Ramesh, Amberpet sub inspector.
