Hyderabad: A parcel was found on Tuesday with more than 60 boxes containing unknown chemical liquids in it has been parcelled with to address as Telangana state chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), governor ESL Narasimhan, Telangana Rashtrasamithi working president K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), former MP Kavitha, Telangana Deputy General of Police Mahender, Commissioner Anjani Kumar, and few other prominent officials. However, the parcel was not dispatched to their address. With immediate action, police and clues team have sent the boxes to forensic labs to detect the boxes.

“We have not identified about the liquid contained in the parcel boxes and have not found any letter in the parcel boxes,” said M Murali, Sub Inspector of Police, Mahankali.

As the boxes were smelling bad the post-office authorities, on Monday, checked those and shocked by seeing the delivery address to KCR, KTR, governor, Kavitha, DGP Mahender, CP Anjani Kumar. Police arrived at the post office immediately when informed.

“The parcel arrived at Secunderabad head post office for dispatch on Saturday afternoon from Osmania university post office,” said Murali to Newsmeter.

Secunderabad post office registered a complaint on the incident and police started an investigation.

According to the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Any explosive, inflammable, dangerous, filthy, noxious or deleterious substances are prohibited.
