Hyderabad: A video of former President of America Barack Obama serving food to people has surfaced on WhatsApp, claiming that "After becoming jobless, Obama has become a waiter at an international hotel and this is the difference between our political leaders and them."

Fact Check: Former American President Barrack Obama is not working in an international hotel. And he is not jobless. This is an old video from a Thanksgiving dinner he hosted and dates back to 2016 when he was the President of the United States. The video was shot when he was serving dinner to war veterans at the armed forces retirement home.

By using the keywords, 'Obama serving food to veterans' we can find the same video uploaded on the Youtube channel of ABC news. Not only the President but the entire the then the first family can be seen serving food.

The description of the video said, "On the night before Thanksgiving, President Barack Obama and the first family helped serve up turkey and all the trimmings to residents of a retirement home for military veterans in Washington, D.C."

Here are other reports:

There has been a similar event in 2015, where President Obama and his daughters were seen serving the thanksgiving dinner to the homeless and veterans.

Ironically, Obama went to Harvard Law School and worked as an attorney before he entered politics. So, he would not be working as a steward or waiter in a hotel, even if he needed a job.

Therefore, all the reports of Obama working in a hotel are FALSE. Reports say that he is keeping himself very busy after his retirement. It is also heard that he is planning to write a book on his eight-year experience in the White House.
