Vijay sethupathi to play villain in Thalapathy64

Chennai: We all know that Makkal Selvan, Vijay Sethupathi will be part of Vijay's next project. This untitled flick is being tentatively called Thalapathy64. Although Vijay Sethupathi agreed to be part of the movie, there were some scheduling issues. Now it seems that the actor has cleared up a major hurdle to be part of Thalapathy64.

This will be the first time Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay will be seen together on screen. This will be Vijay's upcoming movie after Bigil.

Thalapathy64 will be directed by Maanagaram fame, Lokesh Kangaraj and produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators.

Vijay Sethupathi, who will be playing the antagonist, will be acting in a similar role to the one he played in Rajinikanth's Petta. Malavika Mohan of Petta fame will play the female lead.

Meanwhile, Vijay's Bigil is all set to hit theatres this Deepavali. The movie is a sport based drama and has Vijay playing dual roles.

Directed by Atlee, it has Nayanthara playing the female lead. Music is by A R Rahman. Bigil is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.

Vijay, who is now on a vacation with his family abroad, is expected to return to Chennai in the first week of October and then start shooting for Thalapathy64.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has Thuglak Darbar in his kitty. It is being directed by Delhi Prasad Dheenadayalan.
