Vijay Sethupathi wraps up shoot for his second Telugu film

Hyderabad: Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is making his Telugu debut with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has recently wrapped up the shoot for his second Telugu film Uppena. The film marks the acting debut of Panja Vaishnav Tej, younger sibling of actor Sai Dharam Tej. This film is being directed by debutant Buchhi Babu Sana, who worked as an assistant for director Sukumar for a long tiame and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi was very much impressed with the script and liked the Buchhi Babu has helmed the project. That’s the reason he decided to be part of this film. Vijay shot for three to four weeks for this film and has wrapped up shooting for his role. He will be seen playing the main antagonist of the film and has done it with a lot of interest.

Even after being well, he did not postpone the shoot and went ahead with the shoot. The films were launched at the beginning of the year and went on the floors after months of the launch. There were rumours that the project has been shelved too. These rumours were doing rounds only because Vijay was busy wrapping up his Tamil films and that’s the only reason for the delay of the project.

Vijay has been waiting to play the antagonist in Telugu films since some time, and finally, with Uppena, he has bagged the opportunity. His fans are waiting to see him on the silver screen and the day is not too far.
