Hyderabad: The ruling party MP from Rajya Sabha again reprehended TD president Chandrababu and his son Lokesh on twitter, for the corruption prevalent in Anna Canteens. He accused them of taking commission even with a poor man’s food. “There was a corruption of Rs 53 crore in the construction of 203 Anna Canteens. Only two organizations took up the tasks of the canteens and the tenders were also made to benefit them,” Vijaya Sai alleged. The MP wondered how Rs 4500 was paid per square foot for the construction of the canteens.

Mr Sai Reddy’s comments come at a time when the Opposition is crying foul on the closure of the Anna Canteens.
The YSR MP mentioned the new sand policy in his twitter account. He enclosed a newspaper clip that states the bad propaganda of TD on the sand policy. He compared the present cost of sand with that of TD tenure. When TD was ruling the state a bag of sand was sold for Rs 400 whereas in the present government the price of a tonne of sand is only Rs 375, describes the paper clip that was enclosed to the MP’s twitter account.
