When Roger Federer wanted to watch a Bollywood classic

Hyderabad: It has become quite common for many sports players, especially the ones who aren’t Indians, to show a lot of interest in viewing some of Bollywood's classic hits.

On Wednesday, Roger Federer, an internationally famous professional tennis player, took to Twitter to ask his fans to recommend some of the best Bollywood classics to watch, and netizens poured in with hundreds of suggestions. Initially, fans were surprised to see such a tweet from Federer.

Many have suggested he watch films like Sholay, Andaz Apna Apna, Chupke Chupke and many others. But many of them have also suggested he give Diwale Dulhania Lejayenge, Lagaan, Rang De Basanthi, 3 Idiots, Swades and Dangal a shot. These six films have seemed to have topped the list. Fans of several Indian actors have also tweeted the best films of their favourite performers.

The best part was when many replied to Federer asking him to watch movies which have Arbaz Khan in them because they both look very similar.

Jokes apart, it is great that a celebrity tennis player is looking forward to watching some Bollywood films, and we hope he has a good time watching them.
