Woman advocate saves New-born child from stray dogs at Madhapur

Hyderabad: An alert woman advocate came to the rescue of an abandoned newborn child at Madhapur in Hyderabad late on Friday night. Had the woman not noticed the child, the child would have become prey to stray dogs.

The woman who was in her flat, noticed stray dogs barking outside the apartment. When she peeped out, found a pack of dogs. She also heard a baby crying. She rushed out to the place where the dogs were waiting and found a baby boy wrapped in clothes and a bag filled with baby products, kept under a tree. The bag also had a feeding bottle with enough feed for the child. She immediately shooed away the dogs and picked up the child from the ground. She immediately alerted the police.

The child was taken into custody and shifted to Shishu Vihar. Police found that the child could be around two weeks old. It is suspected the child was abandoned as he could be born from a relation out of a marriage.
