Woman immolates herself after partner misbehaves with her daughter

The victim, Jogu Bhagya developed a physical relationship with Dhara Sravan Kumar, their neighbour. When her husband came to know about the affair, they along with their two children, vacated the house and moved into another neighbourhood.

However, the relationship continued and the duo met frequently. Meanwhile, Sravan continued to go to her newly rented home and even demanded a relationship with her teenage daughter, which did not go well with Bhagya. As a result, she forbade him from coming to her home and only met him outside. On Monday night, an inebriated Sravan came to Bhagya's home and created a commotion. He also misbehaved with her daughter and tried to force himself on the girl. An angry Bhagya beat him and drove him out. The house owner, who woke up to the noise, demanded that they vacate the house immediately.

After Sravan left the area, she locked herself in the house and immolated herself. She was rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries in the morning.
