Woman's body found, rape and murder suspected

Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified woman was found in the bushes at Saidabad in the city. Police suspect the woman was murdered two days ago by unidentified persons. Police are now investigating if she was raped before being murdered.

According to police, residents of Vinay Nagar at Saidabad noticed the body of a woman in the bushes in an isolated area. The body was found in a decomposed state with multiple injuries to her head, face and body.

Clues team along with a dog squad were also called to the spot. Police suspect at least two persons are involved in the brutal murder. The body has been shifted for postmortem. However, as the victim's identity is unknown, police have alerted neighbouring police stations to check for any missing woman cases.

A murder case is registered and a probe is underway, said, police officials.
