Youth injured in axe attack at Dundigal, duo fight over property

Hyderabad: A youth was injured when his business rival attacked him with an axe at Dundigal.The videos of the gruesome incident have gone viral on social media. The video clearly shows how two cops arrived at the spot but failed to apprehend the attacker.
According to police, Md Javed and Md Jilani were into a real estate business. There was a land dispute between the two. Jilani fixed a meeting with Javed at the Gandi Maisamma area to discuss the issue.

A heated argument ensued and Jilani pulled an axe and attacked Javed. As he cried for help, locals rushed to the spot. Two cops also arrived on the scene.
One of the cops was seen attending to Javed, while another was seen trying to catch hold of Jilani. The second cop was seen using an empty water container to scare away Jilani.
Later Jilani fled from the spot and Javed was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. Dundigal police have registered a case against Jilani and started investigation.
