YSRCP MLAs meet DGP Goutham Sawang to complain against abusive social media posts

Vijayawada: Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MLAs Jogi Ramesh, Undavalli Sridevi and TJR Sudhakar Babu on Monday met DGP Goutham Sawang at his office to a complaint on abusive social media posts.

In their complaint, the delegation demanded stern action against those who posted defamatory comments against CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP leaders’ families. The MLAs alleged that the abusive comments are planned by Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh who are quite active on social media. They also noted that Naidu and Lokesh encourage people to post such abusive comments against CMs family. The delegation added that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had hired people in multiple locations, including Hyderabad to post highly defamatory remarks against the CM’s family.

The MLAs said that the sequence of events and circumstantial evidence point to both Naidu and Lokesh. They urged the DGP to take quick action against the people behind such objectionable posts.
