Child line official held for sexually harassing former friend with 3 fake FB profiles

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police have arrested a Child line official for creating three fake Facebook profiles of her former friend with her morphed photos. The bogus FB profiles had resulted in the complainant, a mother of two, being sexually harassed online.
According to the cybercrime wing of Rachakonda police, accused Peddi Reddy Raja Chandrika works as a Childline Mandal Coordinator at Markapuram. Chandrika and the victim were friends in 2016 but parted ways over a petty issue.
Since then, Chandrika was looking for an opportunity to get even with the woman. She doctored her photos and created three FB profiles and shared them amongst their common friends. Chandrika also posted a few morphed pictures of the married woman.
Chandrika was exposed after the victim went to the police. Based on technical evidence, she was arrested on Wednesday, said the police.
