Major fire breaks out in Nallamala forest for the second time

Over 45 acres of forest areas is reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire is unknown however the forest official ascertain that it would have been āman-madeā.
Speaking to NewsMeter- District Forest officer M. Joji said, ā It took 4 hours to bring the fire under control, the most affected area is between Vatavalipally to Domalapenta. This stretch is very difficult to monitor, the forest officials are investigating the cause however Tourist could have caused the fireā.
When asked about damage to wild life, the officer said, āThe green cover has been affected, no wild life damage reported. Timely intervention by the forest department and the locals brought the fire under controlā.
The first incident occurred on Saturday, where in fire spread across 15 acres.
