Actor Venu Madhav no more

Hyderabad: Comedian actor Venu Madhav passed away on Wednesday at 12.25 pm after two weeks in hospital. The actor who acted in several Telugu movies, was suffering from liver related ailments. His family confirmed his death on Tuesday.

Earlier, when Venu Madhav was hospitalised, several news agencies carried the news that the actor had died. His family had denied the news and there was outrage over wrong information being spread.

Venu Madhav was being treated for liver aliments. Doctors had informed, that he would survive only if a liver transplant was done. On September 22, after receiving treatment, Venu Madhav was discharged. However, his health deteriorated and he was rushed back to hospital. He survived for two days on a ventilator.

There is no information about when and where Venu Madhav's last rites will be held. His body will be shifted to his residence.
