Plaint against MP  Revanth Reddy for KTR threat to KCR comment

Hyderabad: Taking serious note of the comments made by Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy on TRS party working president KT Rama Rao, an advocate has lodged a complaint with Hyderabad City police on January 5.

The Congress leader had earlier commented that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had a threat from his son, Minister for IT, Municipal Administration & Urban Development and party working president KT Rama Rao.

Gopagani Raghuram, an advocate with the High Court of Telangana hadlodged the complaint at Amberpet police station on Sunday.

Raghuram alleged that the remarks made by Revanth, despite being a responsible citizen and elected representative, are baseless and false in nature. These remarks not only hurt the sentiments of the people, but may also create disturbances in the Chief Minister’s family. It may also lead to a politically disturbing situation in the state, said the advocate.

In his complaint, he appealed to the police to register a criminal case against Revanth Reddy and initiate strict action as per the law.

Laxmaiah, sub-inspector of Amberpet police station said that a complaint was received and it has been sent for legal opinion. Further inquiry will be based on the legal opinion.
