AIMIM MLA Balala booked for comments against BJP SC Morcha National Sec

Hyderabad: AIMIM MLA from Malakpet Ahmed Balala, has been booked by Hyderabad city police for passing derogatory comments against BJP SC Morcha National Secretary, Ms Bangary Shruthi. A case has been registered under charges of insulting the modesty of women and under SC & ST Atrocities act.
The case pertains to Ms Shruthi's visit to a dalit rape-victim at Chaderghat. It is to remember that an aid of the MLA, Mohd Shakeel, was booked by Chaderghat police for rape, threatening, wrongful trespass and under POCSO and SC & ST Atrocities Act. The accused was arrested and produced before the court two weeks ago.
With an intention to render support to the rape victim Ms. Shruthi accompanied by BJP MLC Ramchander Rao, Dr Bhagwanth Rao and former Minister Vijaya Rama Rao besides a few BJP party workers, visited the girl.
According to the police's investigation, AIMIM MLA Balala had inquired about who all visited the victims. Upon knowing thatBangaru Shruthi, daughter of former BJP national president and Union Minister, had visited the girl. MLA Balala passed derogatory comments and also termed them as 'third grade fellows' , the MLA called them chor log.
Following this, Shruthi lodged a complaint with Chaderghat police station, seeking action against the MLA. Her complaint was kept on hold.
Shruthi in her complaint , stated that, MLA Balala used words to humiliate her and her caste. Two week later, the Hyderabad police booked a case (crime no. 142/2020) under sections 509 of IPC and section 3(1)r of the SC & ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
