Akbaruddin Owaisi appears before Nirmal court over 'hate speech' in 2012

AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi appeared before a court at Nirmal, 225 km from Hyderabad, on Tuesday in connection with an alleged hate speech in December 2012.
The MLA from Chandrayanagutta of Hyderabad had given the allegedly inflammatory address at a government junior college.
Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is also his party's floor leader in the Telangana assembly, was booked for sedition and other charges by the Nirmal town police. The charge sheet was filed in January 2018.
