Alwal advocate working with Telecom company  tests positive for Covid-19

Hyderabad: An advocate working as a legal advisor with telecom company and living at Alwal in Hyderabad was tested positive for Covid-19. The 44-year-old lawyer’s results came late on Monday night. While he was shifted to Gandhi hospital, his advocate wife, children and domestic help were shifted to Nature Cure hospital for quarantine.

His brother and his family living in Chaitanyapuri were also shifted for primary quarantine. While how he contracted the virus is yet to be found, it is suspected that he contracted it from a corporate hospital at Malakpet, where his mother is undergoing treatment for urethra TB.

According to preliminary information, the advocate’s 64-year-old mother was admitted to the hospital at Malakpet for treatment on April 24.She has been suffering with health complications for a very long time. As she was admitted to hospital, the advocate, along with his brothers, living at Nagole, had been taking turns and staying at the hospital to take care of her. The advocate also stayed in the hospital for four days.

On May 3, he developed a fever and cough. The next day, he took consultation at the same corporate hospital’s Somajiguda branch but the fever did not subside.

On May 7, he got admitted to a private hospital at Petbasheerabad and was discharged three days later as his health condition did not improve.

On Monday, he got admitted to another corporate hospital at Begumpet and was tested positive for Covid-19. He was immediately shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment.

His wife, children and domestic help, being the primary contacts, and six persons of his brothers’ family were shifted for medical examination.
